Home-StartFriends of Home Start
Friends of Home Start is a new concept to harness the energies of past volunteers who wish to remain part of Home Start and help out at functions and fundraising.
Not everyone has the time or inclination to work at the front line of home support to families yet they would like to be involved in the charity to a lesser or greater extent. For those with a business background, a place on the management committee may be appropriate but that too may not suit everyone.
So we have created "The Friends of Home Start" - an informal group of volunteer helpers who wish to help out occasionally with tasks such as fundraising, organising events and generally make a little of their time available from time to time to help out with specific projects that are necessary part of the life of a charity.
